Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function properly, remember your preferences, and provide information to site owners.
2. How We Use Cookies
Luminar Forge uses minimal cookies. Our approach differs between the marketing site and the authenticated application:
Marketing Site (luminarforge.com)
The marketing site uses only essential cookies and optional analytics cookies. Non-essential cookies are declined by default — we only set them if you explicitly opt in via the cookie consent banner.
Authenticated Application (/app)
The authenticated application uses JWT-based sessions managed by Supabase Auth, not tracking cookies. Authentication tokens are stored securely in HTTP-only cookies for session management only. No third-party tracking cookies are used within the application.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
4. Third-Party Cookies
We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. The only third-party cookies that may appear are from:
- Cloudflare: Security and performance (essential, cannot be disabled)
- Cloudflare Turnstile: Bot detection on signup and login forms (essential)
5. Managing Cookies
You can manage cookies through:
- Our cookie banner: Appears on your first visit to the marketing site. Decline is the default.
- Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies may prevent the Service from functioning properly.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
